Milestones

The program celebrated the inauguration of Prof. Siti Rohajawati in the field of Knowledge Management.
Bakrie University as an institution earned “Excellent” accreditation from BAN-PT (Decree No. 1211/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/PT/VI/2024). This recognition applies university-wide, strengthening program quality across all faculties, including Information Systems.
New classrooms and student areas were introduced on the 41st floor, improving the on-campus learning experience.
The Information Systems Program itself achieved “Baik Sekali” accreditation from LAM-INFOKOM (Decision No. 122/SK/LAM-INFOKOM/Ak/S/XII/2022), valid until December 2027.

Expansion to Bakrie Tower 40th Floor – Additional teaching and collaboration spaces were opened, providing better facilities for students and faculty.

Collaboration with Data Academy – The program collaborated with Data Academy through a seminar on Data Talent Analytics, equipping students with practical data-analytics skills for industry.

Collaboration with SAS Institute – On 5 October 2022, Information Systems signed an MoU with SAS Institute to co-develop data science-oriented academic programs, enhancing students readiness for the digital economy.
Information Systems was one of the five pioneering undergraduate programs launched at the university’s opening. From the start, the program emphasized hands-on learning through Computer Labs.
